Although Monsters in Orbit was published as a novel in it is really a compilation of two novellas, the 62 page Abercrombie Station, and a sequel, the 50 page Cholwell's Chicken.
Each had been published in in the pulp fiction magazine "Thrilling Wonder Stories"/5. Launched inOrbit is the science fiction and fantasy imprint of Monsters in orbit book Book Group. Orbit has quickly established itself as one of the market-leading SFF imprints in the US, and the fastest growing imprint in the field.
